TOPICS

Current research activities within the working group are mainly focused on organic functional materials.
In general, we design and tune organic molecules towards an application in materials chemistry.

The topics include but are not limited to the following research areas:

1. Organic push-pull molecules and their fundamental physico-chemical properties.

2. (Non)linear optics (second- and third-order NLO processes - SHG, THG, MPA)

3. Organic
p-conjugated systems for organic electronics (DSSC, OLED, OPV, switches, sensors, batteries, etc.)

4. Photoredox catalysis.

5. Volatile inorganic-organic molecules for ALD.

6. Organic
p-systems as electrolytes in batteries.

7. Functionalized polymeric systems.
