Oldřich Pytela finished his master  studies in organic chemistry at the VŠCHT Pardubice in 1974, where he has also been habilitated in 1990. Since 1996 he is full professor in organic chemistry.

Author of the OPstat program for statistic data processing and OPchem for chemical data treatment and visualization of molecules.
Quantum-chemical calculations of organic molecules using Gaussian.

Other Activities

O. Pytela is currently member of scientific councils at two universities and four scientific boards within organic chemistry. Since 2015, he also acts as a vice-chairman within the structure of the Student's Professional Activities.
