Miroslav Ludwig finished his master and doctoral studies in organic chemistry at the Institute of Chemical Technology Pardubice in 1980 and 1985. In 1988 he spent 4 months at Umea University (Sweden) in group of prof. Svante Wold, in 1993 4 months at Philipps University Marburg (Germany) under guidance of prof. Christian Reichardt and in 1995 and 1996 two months at Kyushu University Fukuoka (Japan) in group of prof. Sinjiro Kobayashi. He was appointed as Associate professor in 1993 and he obtained full professorship at the University of Pardubice at 2001.
