Jiří Kulhánek finished his master studies in organic chemistry at the Institute at chemical-technology in 1991 and doctoral study at the University of Pardubice in 1996. In 2001 and 2002, he pursued 4-months intership at the LMU (Germany) under guidance of Prof. P. Knochel. After his return to Pardubice he has been habilitated in 2002 and subsequently awarded a full professor title in 2012.
